 Grade

The final grade of this course is the average of the marks of two exams during the semester. There is no end term exam ("Modulschlussprüfung").

Exam 1 Time/Room

Material allowed Open Book (any paper material: handouts, books, notes, ...)
Content All topics til and including course week 7 (Le01-Le06 inkl. Recap). This includes all distributed materials (incl. labs and worksheets, and the referenced book chapters).

Course Project

The course is accompanied by a semester long course project.

While the participation in the course project is voluntary;  we highly recommend to participate in this team project and do all the exercises. The complete content of the practical exercises is very relevant for the exams. We expect the students getting good practical skills while doing the project's exercises. These skills are needed to pass the exams successfully.

Add Bonus Grades to your semester:

There is another reason to participate. You can improve your semester grade with each successful passed milestone by 0.075. With 4 milestones this makes 0.3 which might be added to your semester grade.

What means successful?

1. Your submitted solution must pass all tests that you get for each lab. Reference is the continuous integration build for your project on https://www.cs.technik.fhnw.ch/cidotnet/.

2. Raise a merge request and invite the lecturer as a reviewer. If accepted by the lecturer you get the bonus grading.
