A new summer school together with Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, Colombia, offers international perspectives on entrepreneurship.
Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, Colombia, is a new strategic partner of FHNW. A first result of this partnership is the new summer school that will take participants to Medellín and Basel. The focus of the summer school is entrepreneurship, covering both profit and non-profit projects. In particular, the summer school puts an emphasis on sustainable entrepreneurship.
Participants will attend courses, visit different organisations, and discover local culture in Colombia and Switzerland. The summer school is open to bachelor and master students as well as employees from the organising universities. Its content is designed for students from all fields and faculties.
Attractive Academic & Cultural Programme
The programme includes visits of companies (e.g. start-ups, social start-ups, SME) or organisations (e.g. business hubs) in Colombia and Switzerland.
Attractive cultural and social events will make the participants’ stay an unforgettable experience and contribute to intercultural competence. The programme features excursions to cultural and historical sites in both countries.
Participants will work in mixed groups on their own projects in various fields and get first-hand experience in creating a business idea, strategic planning, market analysis and intercultural management.
The summer school will be open for a maximum of 30 participants (15 from EAFIT, 15 from FHNW).The application Deadline is 1 April 2018, so don’t wait too long!
